This diagram is based on the old NaverTV help center (service/17223), scheduled to shut down on 2026-09-30. It is not the current NAVER Clip production crop rule.

Last verified: not recorded. The same 9:16/3:4 side-crop rule could not be reconfirmed in the current Clip (service/30048) official documentation.

Under the legacy rule (9:16 or 3:4 recommended), a 9:16 input needs no crop by ratio, while a 3:4 input is cropped on the left and right to fit its height.

Example input 1080×1440 → under the legacy rule, the visible source area is 810×1440. Centered alignment is an assumption of this diagram, not a confirmed official crop anchor. It is not claimed to apply to the current service.

현재 Clip 공식 문서는 세로형 숏폼 서비스라는 점과 16:9 영상의 '전체 화면으로 보기' 기능만 확인한다. 구 NaverTV의 9:16/3:4 좌우 crop 수치를 동일하게 재확인하지 못했으므로 현재 Clip의 exact crop behavior는 검증 대기(pending)다. 이 preset은 어떤 crop 규칙이나 좌표도 제공하지 않는다.
